Hong Kong, 14 October 2024 — Peak Reinsurance Company Limited ("Peak Re" or the "Company"), a Hong Kong-based global reinsurer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Feng Xueyin to its Board of Directors (“Board”), effective on 30 September 2024. In addition, Mr. Feng will serve as a member of the Board’s Investment Committee.

Mr. Feng brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry, including expertise in actuarial, underwriting, business operations, and strategic planning. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Fosun's Banking and Insurance Business Group. Before joining Fosun in 2022, Mr. Feng spent 12 years at China Taiping General Insurance, where he held the positions of Assistant General Manager and Chief Actuary. Earlier in his career, he also held various roles at AIG China and China Ping An Property & Casualty. Mr. Feng is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), underscoring his strong professional background in actuarial science.

The Board also comprises Ms. Chen Kaihong, Mr. Feng Xueyin, Mr. Andrew John Zeissink, and three Independent Non-Executive Directors (INEDs): Mr. Monish Kant Dutt, Mr. Tam Raymond Wai-man, and Mr. Ouyang Hui.
