Peak Re names new Co-Heads for P&C and announces retirement of Chris Kershaw

Hong Kong, 25 March 2021 – Peak Reinsurance Company Limited (“Peak Re” or the “Company”), a Hong Kong-based global reinsurer, today announced that Chris Kershaw, Managing Director, Global Markets and Co-Head of P&C, will retire from the company on 2 April 2021 after more than 8 years of service, and will take on an advisory role at Peak Re after his retirement. Iain Reynolds and Andy Souter have been named Co-Heads of P&C, effective on 1 April 2021.

Chris is well respected by our clients and business partners, I am delighted that he will take on an advisory role at Peak Re after his retirement.”

Mr. Reynolds currently serves as Director, Head of Analytics at Peak Re, a position he held since 2016. He has over 20 years of experience in international reinsurance, specialised in catastrophic risk analysis and transfer.

Mr. Souter joined Peak Re in November 2020, having previously been Head of Capital for an MGA in London, and prior to that he was Head of APAC in London for a major global reinsurance broker. He spent his early career in investment banking.
